| use | for organic synthesis. Used as daily essence |
| Production method | It is obtained by the reaction of bromopropane and sodium sulfide. Bromopropane is slowly added to the sodium sulfide solution heated and dissolved with ethanol, and then refluxed for 7 hours. During the feeding reaction, stir not too fast. Cold to room temperature, pour into 25% sodium chloride solution for salting out, thoroughly mix and let stand for stratification. The oil layer is divided, dried with anhydrous sodium sulfate and then distilled, and the 144-144 ℃ fraction is collected as dipropylene sulfur. The yield is about 70%. |
